BLACK VELVET CANDLES began in the fall of 2017. Candle making provided a sanctuary for my mental health as I navigated nursing school. I began to study every aspect of candle making. After numerous attempts, in the spring of 2018, I had finally perfected my first candle. I vividly recall the way the candle filled the room; I was so excited! Encouraged by the positive feedback from colleagues, friends, and family, my husband and I made the bold decision to embark on the journey of entrepreneurship. Thus, in 2021, Black Velvet Candles was born. About Our Candles: With over 7 years of experience in candle making, we are dedicated to enhancing every space with our visually stunning and beautifully crafted scented candles.
