MANICARDI SERGIO SRL is an Italian company that has made handicraft the milestones of its corporate philosophy. Over the years we have been able to create a unique style, focused on design, comfort and quality. The company located in Modena was founded in 1961 when a young Ms Manicardi, aer some experience in the sector of underwear as pattern maker decided to set up the business with her husband Sergio. The first bra created was a real success, the items were only 3 at the time, but they were very requested. The early workshop became too small so the first factory was realized At the end of 70’ the company had another great idea: to realize the r st coordinated with elastic lace, creating new items which proved to be very successful abroad. Since then the company began to sell to some of the biggest stores like “Galleries La Fayette”, “La Rinascente” and “Coin”. In the mid-80 the two sons joined the company that began to export out of Europe replacing the old brand “Magic Form” to the current “Leilieve”. In 2000 the company realized today’s factory where the collections are invented, designed and realized. Thanks to our team, the employment of the best technological innovations and sixty years of experience of “MADE IN ITALY” we are preserving the artisan dimension but, at the same time, exporting all around the world. Our underwear is sold in Italy and abroad, where there are active “Leilieve” distributors in over 15 countries. Read their story
