About Clare Baird

A little bit about us… Fresh, vibrant and minimalist artwork, coupled with luxurious and high end textiles, homeware and giftware, designed to inspire and uplift. Here at Clare Baird our mission is to bring an extra touch of happiness into your home. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, Clare founded the brand in 2015, creating a small selection of Scottish Highland-inspired designs from home. Starting with kilts and textiles for local boutique shops and developing in to bespoke designs for world-renowned whiskey brands like Famous Grouse and more. Over time this bloomed organically into a full range of Fine Art, Textiles, Home & Kitchenware products currently on display with 150 wonderful Stockists who share our passion, from Scottish castles, including the iconic Dunvegan, Eilean Donan and Inveraray to beautifully boutique and quirky independently owned shops in all corners of the world. The inspiration for the designs has always been drawn for Clare's life experiences and heritage, childhood visits to the stunning Scottish Highlands and time spent living in Edinburgh. In 2017 the business expanded into a brand-new studio barn, converted especially for us and located on a beautiful farm in the countryside which is now serving as new daily inspiration from nature to guide Clare's next brush strokes. Each design you see has been developed from an initial idea, hand-drawn and painted by Clare herself in to the final pieces you see today. Read their story
