I started small batch coffee roasting in my kitchen in Topanga, CA, at first out of curiosity, and then to share with friends and neighbors. Soon demand grew, and I was spending all my free time roasting, and so Abalona Coffee was born! We now roast (all organic) coffee several days a week on a larger machine, but still remain true to our “small batch” sensibilities. Our friends and neighbors are now all over California. The “Abalona” was a ship that carried coffee by sail long ago. Inspired by her journeys, we have set out to make new coffee discoveries, and we want you to join our crew! -Geoff
