About Paper Parasol Press

Paper Parasol Press is a collection of artfully designed stationery, goods, and gifts based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are fans of vintage-modern design, handwritten correspondence, and human connections. I’m Cindy, the owner and designer behind Paper Parasol Press. I spent years working in the greeting card industry as both a designer and production artist before going full-time with my own small business. My work is inspired by nature, travel, and, as a first-generation American, my Polish roots and a deep love of folk art and thoughtful design. All paper goods are printed in the USA by a second-generation, family-run print shop. I’m intentional about choosing partners and vendors who share my values, and that care is reflected in how my products are made and priced. When you carry Paper Parasol Press, you’re not only supporting my small business, you’re also helping keep money within local communities. All designs are hand-illustrated by me, without the use of generative AI. Giving Back We believe in kindness and compassion to all living things, which is why animal welfare is extremely important to us. Like us, they deserve kindness, safety, love, and happiness.
