Brake ink is a watercolor paper studio located in Washington, DC. Founded by Elizabeth and Kingsley McAdam, all of our designs feature Elizabeth's original artwork. Elizabeth has always loved viewing art and making art. She discovered her passion for watercolor while studying, eating and painting her way through southern France. She now shares her love of creating with their two sons and daughter. Help us spread the joy of a handwritten note and the delight of original art.
