Founded by Kyle Janis in 2015, Soothsayer Hot Sauce produces hand bottled, small batch, award winning hot sauces right here in Chicago at the Make City incubator. With 40 flavors released to date, Soothsayer is a collaboration focused endeavor partnering mostly with local and national bands like Chicago’s own Beach Bunny and Into It Over It. We have also partnered with some of the cities favorite flavors such as Jeppson’s Malort, El Che Steakhouse, and a new award winning sauce for Birreria Zaragoza. This recent award marks our 19th to date, including Best Local Food Product in Chicago Reader’s Best of 2023. Featuring a different artist on each bottle, we have had the pleasure to work with local artist Bird Milk and owner of Noble Coyote tattoo, Mike Ramos on label designs. Following the community centric ethos of the local food and music scenes, we have been fortunate to use Soothsayer to support many local organizations and keep philanthropy as a pillar of the business. We’re proud to support After School Matters, Greater Chicago Food Depository, My Block My Hood My City, and many others!
