About Bel Koz Haiti
Hi! I’m Amy, founder + owner of Bèl Kòz, which means 'beautiful cause' in Haitian Creole. Bèl Kòz Haiti is a collaboration between artisans in Haiti and myself. At Bèl Kòz Haiti, our mission is providing dignified sustainable jobs in Haiti for our artisan family! And of course, provide beautiful, quality products for you! Our jewelry is made out of clay that is dug by hand from natural deposits in the central plateau region in Haiti. The raw clay is then broken into a fine powder and the impurities are sifted out. The powder is mixed with water and placed in the sun to remove excess moisture. Our skilled artisans then prepare and individually hand roll each of our clay beads, paint them with glaze and kiln fire them into permanent ceramic! As a wholesale partner you + your customers are directly making an impact for our artisans and their families through your purchase. This order was shipped February 9th and shows delivered February 12th. She messaged me March 20th at the same time of leaving this review that she never received her order. Over a month later. She stated that she reached out to Faire and asked if they contacted me, which no, they never did. I respond to my clients promptly and take pride in what God has allowed me to build through my brand and mission. I love all of our retailers and always help in every way I can. I have been in communication with her. She apologized for the bad review and for assuming since after she reached out to Faire customer service with no response, that I just didn't care.
