About Trollbinde

Pronounced Troll-binda, our Scandinavian name means “to spellbind.” Handmade by alchemists and magicians, each piece activates the magic of ancient archetypes. At Trollbinde, each piece is hand-made by alchemists that gather at a studio in Burnsville, NC. We use bronze castings, metal from vintage tool and die machines, and stones sourced through trusted relationships. We choose to partner with family-owned, U.S.-based businesses in the production of any components that we have fabricated. Trollbinde creates more than jewelry; we create talismans for personal ritual and transformation. We hope our jewelry connects its wearer to the medicine they need and the path to their highest good (with lots of synchronicity on the way). The Trollbinde studio is located outside of Asheville, NC, nestled in the mystical Blue Ridge Mountains. Formed more than a billion years ago, the Appalachian Mountains are older than humans, older than dinosaurs, older than trees. It's the ancient spirits of the southern tip of this range that both inspire our art and imbue it with what you recognize as magic. Read their story
