About Dear Botanicals
Hello! I'm Emily, the founder of Dear Botanicals -- an all-natural, handmade artisan soap company. Born and raised in Canada by Taiwanese immigrant parents, I created Dear Botanicals to celebrate the beauty of the natural world I grew up with. From the oolong tea of my parents' homeland to the scent of cedarwood from my Pacific Northwest childhood, I transform the essence of plants and flowers into beautiful objects that we can use to elevate our daily routines. Made by hand and always with great care in New England, my products make a cleansing shower into a joyous ritual. They turn constant hand washing into moments of pleasure. My products are 100% natural, small-batch, and an everyday luxury. Inspired by nature, slow living, and my cultural heritage, Dear Botanicals is a love letter to a world where all of these things collide.

Whenever a customer walks into our gift shop and says "It smells great in here" they are always talking about the Dear Botanicals soaps. And they are not wrong! They smell amazing! A coworker has a partner with sensitive skin who loves how gentle the soaps are. Emily is really great at what she does; easy to work with, ships things neatly and quickly and is always responsive to quesitons.

This is a lovely company to work with--the products are carefully packaged and shipped promptly. The soaps have such a lovely scent; customers are constantly talking about how nice the shop smells and it is usually the persimmon soap that they are talking about. <3
