THE ORIGIN OF EVERYTHING Astro Café Roasters was founded in 2018 as the first independent coffee microroaster in northern Galicia, located in A Coruña. It was born from the alliance of two emissaries passionate about the world of coffee who dream of realizing a change, more than necessary, in the coffee culture of the universe. That's why the destinations of Willy Gómez and Juan Zabal come together to begin an intergalactic journey full of delicious coffees. After many years of experience in the sector, we were overwhelmed by the inaccessibility of quality coffees to the general public. We decided then that our mission would be to roast and sell quality coffees at affordable prices for everyone. We traveled through several galaxies in search of coffees of different origins, roasting profiles, processes, varieties and harvests. Then we started doing a million tests and experiments to find the best way to work our coffees. We started very little by little, we toasted for our own consumption and we barely had a 10m2 warehouse. Little by little we got a little more space and located our warehouse and headquarters of the Roaster in an old squash court attached to the premises where we have our Toper 10Kg toaster. Today we have our fully operational intergalactic headquarters where we prepare our orders, de-gasify the coffee, store the green and also do tastings, training and tests to get the most out of our coffees.
