Original brooks is a small-scale book bindery founded by me, Sara Brooks Charles. I specialize in hand sewn journals and notebooks made from vintage and reclaimed materials. My designs combine the traditional craft of bookbinding with a modern approach to function and aesthetic. Every journal is handcrafted with great care. I work solo from my home-based studio in Lexington, NC.
