Hi there, my name is Carol and I'm so stoked you're here! I'm an independent artist living in South Lake Tahoe, California with my dog and partner. I earned my BFA from Ringling College of Art + Design. While I was working my first job as a motion graphics animator, I started making button pins for co-workers. They were hooked on them! Eventually that lead to designing some for a friend's store, then another, then another. Before I knew it, I was working with stores all over the country. Traveling, nature and birds inspire me to create more art, so I'm really thankful to be here in Tahoe surrounded by nature. When I'm not working, I enjoy paragliding, skiing and forest walks with the dog. Absolutely NO AI was used to make any art you see in the shop. Everything is 100% human made by Carol Patton, the owner and one woman show of Little Hiker Bird. All orders are designed and shipped by me personally. I don't have any employees. Most orders are packed with clean, reused packing materials to reduce waste. Magnets are shipped with home compostable "cling" wrap.
