About Morenita Foods
In the heart of Napa Valley, where sun-kissed vineyards meet the spirit of hard work and determination, Morenita Foods blossomed from humble beginnings in 2007. This family-owned brand traces its roots to a small grocery store opened by the Curiel family in 1991, a testament to the resilience of the American dream. With a foundation built on dedication and love, Morenita Foods has grown from the back of a restaurant to become a cherished presence in 170 locations across the Bay Area, bringing the authentic taste of Mexico to every tortilla chip. Our story begins with a passion for crafting snacks reflecting the vibrant flavors of Mexico. Inspired by generations-old recipes and a commitment to quality, Morenita Foods blends tradition with innovation, creating tortilla chips capturing the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine. Each bite is a journey through the rich tapestry of flavors, from the earthy warmth of corn to the zesty kick of chili and lime. But our journey is about more than just flavor; it's about community and connection. We believe in food's power to bring people together, sparking conversations and creating lasting memories. That's why we source the finest ingredients, work with local farmers whenever possible, and handcraft our chips with care in small batches. Because we know that when you put love and passion into what you do, it shines through in every bite. Morenita Foods: where tradition meets taste, and every chip tells a story.

Chip are covered in oil and shipping was awful. We have very few chips that we can actually use the rest have to be thrown out. Half of the problem was FedEx for damaging the boxes which is why so many were crushed but the amount of oil in the bags and on the chips, themselves was way too much.
