There was a time when sunscreen was fun. But then it got medicinal, beautified, and boring. At Bask, we're making sunscreen fun, fashionable, and sexy again. We're combining the absolute best of modern cosmetic technology with the nostalgia of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Bask is award-winning sunscreen packaged to pop off the shelf, make your day, and elevate your beach bag. The long story: My wife and I "accidentally" started Bask in 2021. After losing a family member to skin cancer, I launched a non-profit called The Skin Protection Foundation (SPF) whose purpose is to fight skin cancer on the front lines by giving sunscreen away. As we searched for a sunscreen partner, that's when we realized why skin cancer is more diagnosed than all other cancers combined: sunscreen sucks. We determined that the best way to fight skin cancer was to create a sunscreen people would actually want to wear. Bask was born from that goal. Every detail of the product and packaging was designed to make sunscreen fun, enjoyable, and cool. Since launch, Bask has won multiple awards, including The Zoe Report Beauty Award for Best Sunscreen. We were also named to the Bazaar 100 List. Refinery29 & Glamour both named our spray "best clean ingredient sunscreen". But most importantly, we're getting people excited about sunscreen, and we've donated over 15,000 units of Bask to our non-profit partner organizations. Our mission is to end skin cancer.
