Please get in touch if you have any queries. Calico Collective is centred around creating consciously crafted, small batch ceramic tableware. Each & every piece is hand thrown by owner & potter Charlotte, in her Stockport based studio. Inspired by natural forms, organic textures and the rituals that surround sharing food, Charlotte’s work is rooted in a belief that everyday objects can, and should, bring us together. This sense of connection guides her practice and informs the story behind each individual piece. Working primarily with stoneware clay bodies, Charlotte often chooses to leave areas of raw clay exposed, allowing the material’s natural character to shine. Soft, earthy toned glazes are used to compliment the forms, ensuring each piece is durable & built to last. Each object is crafted with intention, celebrating the connections formed around the table. Ceramics to be held, used & lived with. Alongside our range of ceramic tablewares, you can shop a selection of our best selling homeware range, cast using Jesmonite - a fully recyclable, environmentally conscious alternative to resin, with a similar to stoneware finish but a much faster production process.
