Woman-owned snack company... Crunchier, cheesier biscuit crackers for your charcuterie board. Based on my Grandmother's (Grandbetty's) recipe, "Piedmont Pennies" are bite-sized cheesy biscuit bites of heaven, named after the Piedmont region of North Carolina (where we are from!). Growing up, you'd find me beside my Dad baking Pennies, with the entire house smelling of cheese and butter. In 2020, Pennies launched as an MBA class project, and today, we bake, pack, and ship Pennies from our commercial kitchen in Charlotte, NC. Today, we have FIVE flavors, SIX employees, and FIVE years later, Pennies are an ode to this great state and the people in it.
