Nestled in South Carolina's inspiring landscapes, Mountaintop Yarn is the brainchild of Tabetha Moe. In the midst of 2020's lockdowns, Tabetha turned to knitting and crocheting for solace, sparking the birth of Mountaintop Yarn. Every skein of Mountaintop Yarn is hand-dyed by Tabetha in her small studio in South Carolina. Her love for dyeing yarn comes backed by a lifelong love of painting and drawing. Having gone to university for the arts and sciences, her knowledge of color theory and its applications shows through every colorway she creates. Tabetha works as a software engineer during the day and balances the extremely logical side of her life with the beauty and creativity of her hand dyed yarns.
