The Gourmet Chip Company started with a dream of wildly inspired flavors and hand-made thick cut potato chips in 2011. Founder, Neala Steury, opened the doors to a one-of-a-kind chip cafe in Asheville, NC. She created recipes inspired by international cuisine using fresh herbs, cheeses, hand-blended spices, and delectable drizzles and infusions. These bold and unique combinations inspired a line of packaged potato chips that shine just as brightly and create a culinary experience and a flavor story that unfolds in each bag opened. We blend all spices in-house and hand season our chips to ensure consistency and quality. Our thick cut chips are cooked in high oleic sunflower oil, slowly at a lower temperature which creates a hearty, non-oily chip that ensures you get a bag full of predominantly whole potato chips.
