Fume-eh was born from a single bite. Years ago, at a small restaurant in San Francisco, we tried smoked olives for the first time — and couldn't stop thinking about them. We went home, experimented relentlessly, and eventually developed our own cold-smoking process using hardwood. What started as an obsession became a brand. We're a husband-and-wife team based in Coquitlam, British Columbia — both trained chefs, both former specialty food retailers. That background shapes everything we make. We know what sells on a specialty shelf because we spent years standing behind one. We know what food-literate customers reach for, and why. And we know that the products earning their place in a retailer's lineup are the ones that taste like nothing else in the category. Every Fume-eh product is small-batch, cold-smoked over hardwood, and made in Canada. No shortcuts. No artificial anything. Just olives, artichokes, and tapenades that genuinely surprise people — and keep them coming back.
