About CEMENT6
Co-founders, designers, and Nashville natives Jeremy and Susannah met while building a house in Haiti during college. Their shared passion for travel and serving others led them across Southeast Asia, where the spark for CEMENT6 began. In 2012, while backpacking Cambodia, Susannah noticed piles of discarded cement bags scattered near job sites. At a night market, she met a talented woman turning that trash into one-of-a-kind bags. They became fast friends, and the idea for a sustainable brand was born. Fast forward to 2016—CEMENT6 was launched. Our mission is to break the cycle of fast fashion by creating high-quality, sustainable products that serve both people and the planet. Today’s fashion industry thrives on mass production, low wages, and environmental harm. We reject that model. Instead, we work directly with skilled artisans in Cambodia, crafting upcycled products with purpose. We value fair wages, thoughtful design, and slower production that tells a story. Through our GIVE6 model, we aim to make positive local and global impact—economically, environmentally, and philanthropically. We hope you love our products and their stories.
