In 2017 Allison Teicher created Eyde from a simple desire to work with her hands. After spending years in the fashion industry, she fell into jewelry and then I fell in love with it. Eyde believes that adornment and beauty should be intertwined with sustainability and community. Eyde is created using a slow, mindful approach to design, using lost wax casting and other methods to create unique, wearable art. Each piece is made from locally sourced metal and ethically produced in Los Angeles by a small team of special hands. Eyde embraces irregularity, unique lines, and a one-of-a-kind feeling. Each piece has its own particular spirit, meant to evoke the love we have for the people in our communities (something that can’t be replicated twice). Eyde wants wearers to feel like the piece was made for them. Allison Teicher's main goal with Eyde is to have no excess.
