Description
A Victorian wink to soulmates, two elegant figures stroll in pea green, buttoned with bright pearls, a charming nod to the phrase we all know by heart, two peas in a pod. In our New York studio we practice French decoupage with quiet precision, the artwork is laid in reverse on the underside, sealed with hand-brushed varnish, the glass gently bent to catch the light. The back is felted for a soft landing, the surface wipes clean, the piece is food safe, and Ben signs each tray before it leaves the bench. Set it by the door for rings and keys, on a bar cart for limes and olives, or stand it upright to make guests smile before dessert. A folded card travels with it, sharing the time-honored process that marries paper to glass.
