About Semences Vivantes

SEMENCES VIVANTES who are we? Semences Vivantes offers biodynamic, reproducible and quality organic seeds for both gardeners and vegetable growers. We want to contribute to the agro-ecological transition to: - improve the health of soils, plants and human beings; - promote the storage of water in the soil; - increase biodiversity; - rediscover the richness of the tastes expressed in each region; - ensure food sovereignty and resilience. We are based in Gers, one of the pioneer territories of organic farming in France. We are associated with the “Living Seeds” network, network of seed companies present in Europe that share the same values and are involved in the entire chain of value, from selection to marketing. This belonging allows us to offer all the diversity of seeds developed by our sister companies. It gives us resources to contribute to research programs whether regional, national or European. For the selection, we also rely on the results of European research programs such as “LiveSeeds” .The seeds come from our own network and from the Idanha a Nova farm in Portugal.They are also multiplied by contractual partners who respect our quality requirements.The latter bring diversity to our production due to their geographical location (France, Portugal).Read their story
