Nestled in a small studio in Northern California, Urb Apothecary is a handcrafted skincare line founded by a mother and made by a small team of women. Every formula is created in-house using thoughtfully chosen ingredients that support both skin health and environmental stewardship. We believe artisan skincare should be slow, intentional, and rooted in the healing power of whole plants. Our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible and from organic, regenerative, and ethically minded farms around the world. Many of our botanical oils are slowly infused over 30–40 days to capture the full spectrum of the plants' beneficial compounds, resulting in skincare that is rich in naturally occurring nutrients and bioactive constituents. Sustainability is woven into every part of our business. Our mask sample envelopes and bath soak packets are fully biodegradable, our cartons protect light-sensitive formulas without plastic shrink wrap, and we continuously work to reduce our environmental footprint. We also believe in caring for the landscapes that inspire our work. A portion of every purchase supports the Bear Yuba Land Trust, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting forests, rivers, farms, meadows, and open spaces while expanding public trails and outdoor education for future generations.
