Fair trade certified (WFTO). THE STORY In central parts of southern India lives a group of women dedicated to empowering themselves and their community by creating eco-conscious jute products. This isn't however like any other group of women; each of them was born with a disability. Yet, despite their disadvantage, they are mastering the art of turning the ecologically responsible raw material - jute, into unique functional and decorational pieces. This is the story of the women who overcame their disabilities and set out to empower their community. Watermelons are generally a pro-Palestine symbol of support for freedom and peace to the Palestinian people, as the colors of the watermelon matches the Palestinian flag.
