A place of ancient power and awesome beauty, the Tarkine feels almost beyond human comprehension or interference. However, like all ecosystems, The Tarkine is fragile. I felt that this delicate and almost translucent green fern catching the sunlight conveyed that vulnerable beauty which makes The Tarkine so irreplaceable.
