Hammocks have long been part of the history of Paraguay. The Guaraní, whose bloodline is shared by nearly everyone in the country, call them keha, meaning ‘place to sleep. Through generations, they mastered the art of hand-knotting using coconut and palm fibers, grasses, and cotton to create exquisite works of art. Our knotted hammocks are masterfully handcrafted in the traditional Paraguayan style from 100% natural cotton. Due to the nature of hand-knotting, each hammock is unique in character and design, bearing the unwritten signature of the artisan who made it and the history from which it came.
