Description
Oud . Pumpkin . Sugar People Are Strange holds a warm and familiar energy. Both in fragrance and in the song. Originally recorded for The Doors 1967 album, "Strange Days"- People Are Strange was written by Jim Morrison. The story is that Jim was very depressed so he went to Robby Krieger's house. So the two of them went to a canyon close by to watch the sun set, that's when Jim realized he was depressed because "if you're strange, people are strange." After that thought, Morrison wrote the rest of the lyrics, which are about feeling alienated in what may be one of the most well known Doors songs. We wanted to encapsulate the layers of this profound song with both warm and inviting notes such as pumpkin seeds and cinnamon sugar as well as more cool and somber notes such as oud and smoke.
