The tradition of the St. Andrew Christmas Novena dates back over one hundred years and it is piously believed that whoever recites this prayer fifteen times daily from the feast of St. Andrew (November 30th) through Christmas Eve will obtain the petition that they are offering the novena for. It is a very powerful prayer and a beautiful meditation to help enter into the Advent season and prepare one’s heart for the coming of the Christ child at Christmas.
