Wholesale Iridescent Acrylic and Resin Insect Wing Earrings - Hornet

The design for these earrings was inspired by the European Hornet (Vespa crabro). These hornets exhibit a high level of organization of sociality. While generally conflict avoidant, they can be ferocious, particularly in defense of their communal nest. Handmade by the artist, Adam Borut, these earrings shift color and cast changing shadows in the sunlight. Made of lightweight 1mm iridescent acrylic dipped in clear resin, they are almost weightless and the two wings on each earring flutter independently in a breeze. Packaged for an engaging and informative unboxing experience as well as easy storage. External sleave provides information and holds the box closed. Internal card is signed and dated by the artist, and contains additional information about the earring the artist and care instructions.
