Wholesale Ceramic Matchbox – Clover

We’re happy to introduce our Ceramic Matchboxes on Faire! Designed by our founder Inhee, these handcrafted porcelain matchboxes are a contemporary reinterpretation of an everyday classic. Inspired by the art of trompe-l'œil, each piece combines function, craftsmanship and playful design. The “Clover” Porcelain Matchbox features an original hand-drawn illustration by Inhee, applied to the porcelain using a ceramic printing technique. Open the drawer to reveal a hidden “You're my luck” message inside, adding a charming little surprise to the piece. Faithfully recreating the shape of a traditional matchbox, it consists of a porcelain outer case and a sliding inner drawer. Two strike strips, one on each side of the inner drawer, allow the piece to function as a real matchbox. Matches are not included. Beyond storing matches, the ceramic drawer can also be used as a small jewelry box or to keep tiny treasures and objects. Each piece is handcrafted in porcelain and finished with a transparent glossy glaze. As a result of the artisanal production process, slight variations in shape and finish may occur, making every piece unique.
