Our Wire Collection meets the desire for something beautiful and exciting while attracting even the most price-conscious gardeners. Our unique designs draw from a rich history and tradition of wrought iron produced in the most famous art centers in the world. All Black Hammer products are designed in-house by Bethany Hubbard in Santa Barbara. Her work is largely influenced by the Spanish Colonial style from which she incorporates smooth and stylish transitions between her elegantly creative scrolls. Evidence of the French ‘Art Nouveau’ tradition of the late 1800s is apparent through the ornate finials, base plates, and scroll finishes. Many designs embrace the 20th Century Modernist styles like the Art Deco movement, which she uses in striking juxtaposition with elements of historic revival and neo-Gothic architecture.
