Delivery can only occur after that date. The work Alpha and Omega performs a bold sacralization of the everyday through the artistic reinterpretation of a common biological form: a pepper. Historically associated with religious iconography and divine transcendence as the beginning and the end of all things, the classical expression is here displaced to the realm of the earth. In this sculpture, Nature takes the place of the sacred, asserting itself as the true beginning and end of all existence, matter, and the life cycle. Molded in ceramic and engraved with the sumptuousness of gold lustre, the piece establishes a tense and magnetic dialogue between the fragility of the organic and the immutability of the precious. A sculptural reflection on time, the inheritance of the earth, and the absolute beauty of imperfect forms. A versatile piece.
