TACOMA, Washington. This Map-Drawing is an homage to the neighborhoods and the citizens of Tacoma. The neighborhoods are labelled and delineated in multi-colored watercolor washes, their names written in my cursive handwriting. The balance of the map area is filled with more handwriting as I've transcribed the words of Tacomans that describe their neighborhoods. (Words sourced through my Instagram polls as well as contributions from local realtor Marguerite Martin in her research for Move to Tacoma.) A real "group effort!" Epson archival coated paper / Epson Professional high-quality inkjet printer / Archival inks Original drawing. Print is signed & dated by me.
