UNIQUE PIECE. Entirely handmade in Grottaglie. History, tradition, myth, ancient legends, the dreamlike and esotericism are rich with symbolic references, allegories, and interpretations of the figure of the swallow. In Aesop's fables, it expressed wisdom, foresight, and knowledge, while in ancient Greece, it signified protection and good omens, up to the various discussions in religious confessions and the more recent depictions that emphasize its meaning of freedom. A singular bird with a forked tail that, in the painted ceramic works of Leonardo Dini, transforms into an intertwining of multicolored figures, which seem to soar in a dance, in a meeting of harmonious and disenchanted gazes.
