Description
There is a spot on your counter — beside the sink, on the desk, at the end of the day — where you put the things you keep close. This vessel holds that spot. Hand-carved from natural onyx by artisans in Balochistan, Pakistan, it arrives with the weight and cool of something geological. Warm saffron and burnt sienna swirl through translucent cream stone — markings formed over millions of years, finished by hand in our San Diego studio. No polish, no synthetic treatment. The stone is exactly what it is. Place a tealight inside and it glows like the last hour of afternoon light. Use it to hold your pens, your brushes, your kitchen tools, or simply let it remain. Every piece is unrepeatable. The variation you see is the variation of the earth. ⸻ Details • Dimensions: approx. 3" diameter × 5" height × 4.5" width • Weight: ~1.5–2 lbs • Saffron, sienna, burnt orange, and cream onyx with natural veining • Hand-carved in Pakistan, finished in California • Matte, unpolished surface sealed with food-grade beeswax ⸻ Crafted without compromise • 100% natural onyx — no resins, dyes, or composites • Lead-free, plastic-free, and made to last • Ships plastic-free in recyclable or compostable packaging • Includes a free SAÉA tote made from recycled cotton ⸻ Shezal Babar founded SAÉA because she believed the objects you live with every day should carry the same weight as the ones you'd never part with.
