Safety without the bulk. The Paddle North Inflatable Belt Pack is an inflatable personal flotation device (PFD) that mixes safety with comfort and ease of use. Most of its life will be spent in its packed up form. The 2” thick belt and mesh back support provide a comfortable fit and sturdy design. Small enough to avoid being in the way, the Inflatable Belt Pack provides safety in the situations it is needed without the bulk of a full life jacket. This Type V inflatable PFD relies on a rip-cord to fill the belt pack with C02 that provides 16 lbs of buoyancy and a mouth tube on the now-filled jacket to take the buoyancy up to 29.5 lbs. Repacking and re-arming the Belt Pack happens in a few easy steps and will get you back out on the water quickly.
