Hydrosols are suited to all skin types and can be incorporated into any skincare ritual. Used as toners, hydrosols will help balance the pH of your skin before applying a moisturizer, help remove excess oil, dirt and debris and help to tighten your pores. All of our hydrosols are artisanally distilled in a copper alembic still from plants we sustainably harvest from the forests of Michigan’s Sunrise side, or grow organically in our garden. We pH balance the hydrosols to the ideal pH for your skin, then add Leucidal (a natural preservative made from Lactobacillus. ) We sustainably harvest Balsam Fir (Abies Balsamea) from the forests of Northeast Michigan and distill it into a fragrant hydrosol to help tone and soothe your skin. Balsam Fir contains anti bacterial, antiviral, antiseptic and antibiotic compounds, yet is gentle enough for daily use.
