Description
Italian yellow peeled tomatoes packed in yellow tomato juice. They have a vibrant and a fresh aroma, are rich in carotene, less acidic and much sweeter in flavour than red tomatoes. They are perfect for fish-based dishes and for delicate recipes. Coppola Yellow Peeled Plum Tomatoes are made with selected yellow plum tomatoes varieties, grown in sunny and fertile Southern Italy. These tomatoes are at their full ripening between the summer months of August and September when they are harvested, attentively sorted, steam peeled and packed in their juice. Coppola Yellow Peeled Plum Tomatoes are Halal and Kosher certified, made with no sugar, no sweeteners added, and they are free from artificial flavours, thickeners, or firming agents. Packed in easy open, white lacquered, BPA free lining tinned cans. Good to know: The Italian name for tomato is pomodoro or golden apple as at first tomatoes used to be yellow and not red.

What a disaster. First I tried to cancel the order after waiting several days for them to respond. They said that wouldn't be possible as it was already processed and waiting to be shipped. When my order finally got delivered (by Amazon Logistics) my order was damaged with several items (in glass jars) broken inside and several items missing. Only two-thirds of my order showed up. I had to wait a couple of days for the rest to arrive and when it did some more items were missing.
