Our beautiful silver coloured hawthorn leaf is taken from the Holy Hawthorn tree in the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey and is one of our most popular designs. Our stunning hawthorn leaf brooch is 5.2 cm (2.0”) tall and is attached with a metal clasp pin. Each brooch is packaged in a black presentation gift box and an organza pouch. Every Glover and Smith Hawthorn Leaf Brooch is handmade from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free. Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your brooch will never flake like a silver plated brooch. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
