Wonderfully balanced. A long living wine, it maintains and improves its characteristics for at least 10 years. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a hefty wine which is best appreciated with red meat, grills, stews and game. Excellent with Pienza pecorino cheese and all ripe cheeses, it also goes well with vegetarian dishes including eggplant or radicchio. It is perfect with fillet steak with mushrooms.
