Lard is a time-honored animal fat used for centuries for its vital nutrients and culinary versatility. FOND’s slow-rendered, pastured pork lard is a delicious shelf-stable addition to your nourished kitchen. The pork fat for our leaf lard is sourced from the incredible regenerative farm White Oak Pastures, slow-rendered in stainless steel kettles, and then packaged in our signature glass jars.  Lard is rich in monounsaturated fats, low in polyunsaturated fats, and contains beneficial omega-3 fatty acids (particularly pastured lard like ours!). It also has a high smoke point, making it great for sautéing, frying, baking, and everything in between.
