The tea leaves are a first flush harvest from Kagoshima Prefecture, and the organic brown rice is produced in Hokkaido. Genmaicha is one of our favorite breakfast and afternoon teas, equally pleasing hot or iced. Preparation Hot // 3g Genmaicha tea to 8oz water ( 185F ). Steep for 1.5 minutes. Strain / pour into your favorite tea cup. Chilled // 4g Genmaicha tea to 16oz water ( room temp ). Steep for 1-2 hrs on counter or 3-5 hrs in fridge. Strain and chill. Re-infuse.
