The Relevé silk hair elastic is perfect for anyone who wants to use silk on their hair but wants something more subtle than a scrunchie. Perhaps you wore too many scrunchies back in the 80s and 90s (we aren’t sure we believe there is such a thing as too many scrunchies!) or you just want a simple hair tie to hold your hair back with the fashion statement of a scrunchie, then the Relevé silk hair band is perfect for you. Featuring thicker elastic than our normal scrunchies, these are also perfect for thicker hair that needs a bit more support. Approximately 1.5 cm or ¾” wide and 20cm or 8” around stretching to 33cm or 13” with nearly invisible hand stitched closure. 94% Silk, 6% Elastane, 19 momme. We use a stretch silk satin with small amount of elastane as it allows for extra stretch and movement and we've found it tends to fray less too for even more durable accessories.
