Chyawanprash is an Ayurvedic herbal jam. The original formulas included about 50 ingredients, many of which are now endangered and unavailable. Ours has about 30 ingredients, all organic. To respect these formulas, we call ours 21st Century Chyawanprash™. We are doing our part by supporting organizations like United Plant Savers, who work hard to protect endangered medicinal plants so that the 22nd century formula won't have even fewer ingredients. This product has been lab tested for heavy metals, and it complies with U.S. federal and state laws.
