Each print is hand printed with ink and signed in pencil on paper, approximately 26 x 19 inches. Date printed and some details may vary somewhat. J. Borges (1936-2024) has been featured in several museum shows in the US, Europe, and Brazil. He was widely recognized as one of the most loved folk artists in Brazil. His work features typical, humorous scenes, and folk tales from his home area of North East Brazil. We have very limited quantities of each print, however, being a true folk artist he never numbered, or limited his prints. These are beautiful pieces of original folk art produced in rural Brazil with small variations and imperfections. None are mass produced, so please expect some imperfections. Large prints will be shipped in plastic sleeves rolled together in a shipping tube with a copy of New York Time article written about J. Borges in 2002.
