Porcelain (ceramic) stud earrings with sterling silver circles, earring posts, and butterfly backs. Oxides are mixed into the white porcelain clay when it is wet in order to produce a range of different colors. Porcelain is an extremely durable high-fired ceramic material. Sterling silver components are crafted by hand by the artist and soldered into position around ceramic components. The post on these earrings runs all the way through the porcelain flower and is permanently positioned between the silver circles for ultimate security, as illustrated in the video. There are never any toxic glues or adhesives used for any pieces in the Inisona jewelry line. These are NOT polymer clay, they are ceramic. Each piece is fired in a kiln to 2200 degrees Fahrenheit, making them incredibly durable. They can be worn all day and night, in the shower, in the pool, and in very hot or cold weather without any issues.
