Wholesale Issue 3: Flower Puddle

This puzzle’s feature image was taken by the artist Shoog McDaniel in 2018 in Portland, Oregon, as part of a series titled “Flower Puddle.” Shoog, pronounced “Sh-uuug” like sugar, is a self-proclaimed Southern, queer, non-binary, fat, contemporary photographer and artist living in Tallahassee, Florida. Shoog is using their work to advance the body positivity movement even further by presenting marginalized narratives and showcasing bodies that are often overlooked by mainstream media. Their images challenge normative expectations, bringing forth a more accepting and understanding world that values the brilliancy of diversity.
