The peanut is very popular in West Africa — whether raw, roasted, cooked or as a paste for the sauce. Peanuts are not nuts at all, but legumes, and an excellent source of vegetable protein. Our creation NDEY nut is inspired by the famous mafé sauce made from peanut paste, which is consumed throughout West Africa. NDEY nut not only spices up side dishes such as rice, carrots or noodles, but can also be used as a base for the mafé for cooking fish, meat or vegetables.
